Save yourself from the (Hell) Fire even with half a date

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Save yourself from the (Hell) Fire even with half a date (to be given in charity) and if you do not find a half date, then with a good pleasant word.”

(Sahih Bukhari)

Allah has sent us on this world to be tested, and our aim should to be work hard to reach Jannah and avoid hellfire. We should do all we can to achieve this goal, and every positive action is a step in the right direction.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that if we have nothing else to give, even half a date given in charity will save us. If we don’t have even that, then a pleasant word shared with another will save us.
